Job summary

Pike Electric, LLC is seeking a Class B Lineman to construct, repair and maintain overhead distribution systems, traveling to job sites as needed. You will work on energized and de-energized lines and report to the Foreman.

Responsibilities include installing lines and hardware, following switching and safety procedures, climbing structures, and operating bucket trucks and related equipment in all weather conditions. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Three (3) years of recent overhead line experience.
• Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
• Willing to travel long distances on short notice.
• Lift up to 50 pounds and work extended hours including weekends.
• Work out-of-state locations as required.

Responsibilities

• Perform construction, maintenance and repair of overhead distribution systems.
• Install and repair overhead power lines, poles, insulators and hardware.
• Follow switching, tagging, grounding and insulated procedures.
• Climb structures using approved methods and equipment.
• Operate bucket trucks, digger derricks and other line equipment.
• Work outdoors in varied weather and respond to outages or emergencies.
