Job summary

Pike Electric, LLC is seeking a Class A Lineman to construct and repair overhead distribution systems. You will work on energized lines, travel to multiple job sites, and report to the Foreman. Safety is emphasized in all tasks and operations.

The role requires five years of overhead line experience, a valid CDL, and willingness to travel extensively, including out-of-state assignments. You must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and work outside in varying conditions.

Qualifications

• Five (5) years of overhead line experience.
• Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
• Willing to travel long distances on short notice.
• Lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds.
• Willing to work outside normal hours and be on-call for outages/storms.

Responsibilities

• Perform construction, maintenance and repair of overhead distribution systems.
• Lead crew members in absence of Charge/Foreman and conduct safety briefings.
• Train apprentices and groundmen.
• Install and repair overhead lines, poles and hardware.
• Follow switching and tagging procedures and use proper PPE.
