Job summary

Pike Electric, LLC is seeking a Class B Lineman to construct and repair overhead distribution systems, including energized lines. You may travel to different job sites, including out-of-state locations, as required by operations. You will report to the Foreman and perform live-line work with safety as a priority.

The role requires three years of overhead line experience, a valid CDL, and willingness to travel and work overtime, with exposure to various weather conditions and physical demands.

Qualifications

• Three years of overhead line experience.
• Valid CDL.
• Willing to travel long distances on short notice.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Willing to work extended hours, including weekends and on-call.

Responsibilities

• Perform new construction, maintain and repair energized and de-energized overhead distribution systems.
• Install and repair overhead power lines, poles and insulators.
• Follow switching and tagging procedures and use proper test equipment.
• Climb structures using approved methods and equipment.
• Work outdoors in varying conditions and at heights.
• Operate bucket trucks and other overhead line equipment.
• Attend outages and emergency callouts as required.
• Perform live-line work using safe glove and hot-stick techniques.
