Job summary

Pike Electric LLC is seeking a Class A Lineman to safely construct and repair overhead distribution systems across multiple sites. You will work on energized and de-energized lines, lead crews in absence of supervision, and travel to out-of-state locations as needed.

The role requires a CDL, five years of overhead line experience, and readiness for on-call rotations and overtime. You will operate specialized equipment and adhere to strict safety protocols on diverse job sites.

Qualifications

• Five (5) years of recent overhead line experience.
• Valid CDL license.
• Willing to travel long distances on short notice.
• Willing to work outside normal business hours, including weekends, holidays, and emergency callouts.

Responsibilities

• Perform construction, maintenance and repair of overhead distribution systems with safety first.
• Lead crew members in the absence of the Employee in Charge and conduct pre-job and tailgate safety briefings.
• Train and mentor apprentices and groundmen.
• Install and repair overhead power lines, poles, insulators, conductors and related hardware.
• Demonstrate knowledge of switching, tagging, grounding and voltage-related safety procedures.
