Job summary

Pike Electric LLC is seeking a Class A Lineman to construct and repair overhead distribution systems. The role involves work on energized lines, out-of-state travel as needed, and reporting to the Foreman.

Applicants should have extensive overhead line experience, a valid CDL, and be prepared to work outside standard hours, including outages and emergencies, with a strong emphasis on safety.

Qualifications

• Five years of overhead line experience required.
• Valid CDL is required.
• Willing to travel long distances on short notice.
• Lift up to 50 pounds and work extended hours.

Responsibilities

• Perform construction, maintenance and repair of overhead distribution systems.
• Lead crew in absence of the Employee in Charge and conduct safety briefings.
• Train apprentices and groundmen.
• Install and repair overhead power lines, poles, insulators and conductors.
• Follow safety protocols and use proper PPE and tools.
