Job summary

Pike Electric, LLC seeks a Class A Lineman for overhead distribution work across multiple sites. Travel may be required depending on customer needs. Strong emphasis on safety, team leadership, and hands-on installation of transformers, switches, and conductors.

Ideal candidates have substantial field experience, the ability to work at heights, and the capacity to read job prints and follow safety protocols in variable outdoor conditions.

Qualifications

• 5-year minimum of recent field experience.
• Able to read and communicate effectively in English.
• Able to travel long distances on short notice.

Responsibilities

• Work safely while constructing, maintaining, and repairing overhead distribution systems.
• Lead crew members in the absence of the Foreman and coordinate tasks.
• Set poles and anchors, string overhead wire, and install transformers and switches.
• Troubleshoot primary and secondary systems and clear faulted circuits.
• Work with energized high voltage with proper PPE and procedures.
