Job summary

Beiersdorf is seeking a Manager, FP&A – Overhead Costs in Stamford, CT, on a hybrid schedule. You will lead forecasting, planning, and analysis of General Expenses and support month-end close tasks, journal vouchers, and reconciliations as a trusted adviser to senior leadership.

The role emphasizes delivering insights that shape strategic GE spend decisions, strengthening internal controls, and partnering with department heads to meet financial targets in a multinational setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting (MBA or CPA preferred).
• 3–5+ years in a multinational CPG company.
• Strong accounting background with balance sheet and income statement knowledge.
• Experience managing GE/Overhead expenses and handling confidential information.
• Advanced knowledge of SAP, including CO/PA assessment cycles.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel and PowerPoint essential).
• Strong knowledge of internal controls and risk management.
• Proven ability to implement new processes and standardize reporting with stakeholder alignment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust across teams.
• Base Salary Range: $118,900 - $149,100 base salary.

Responsibilities

• Lead overhead cost planning and forecasting cycles with full ownership and accountability.
• Partner with functional leaders across Payroll, IT, Facilities, HR, and Corporate Services for monthly reviews.
• Analyze overhead spending variances against budget and forecast to identify drivers.
• Prepare and post expense reclasses and journal entries for accurate reporting.
• Drive cost management improvements and reporting efficiency.
• Manage cost center structures, reporting governance, and COA administration.
• Review allocations and expense drivers for accurate departmental reporting.
• Lead accruals, provisions, and balance sheet accounting activities.
• Own planning, forecasting, and reporting for Other Income & Expense.
• Deliver variance analysis and bridges versus forecast, budget, and prior year.
• Identify risks and opportunities and partner with leadership to hit targets.
