Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting (MBA or CPA preferred).
• 3–5+ years of experience in a multinational CPG company.
• Strong accounting background with deep understanding of balance sheet and income statement.
• Experience managing GE/Overhead expenses and handling confidential information.
• Advanced knowledge of SAP, including CO/PA assessment cycles.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel and PowerPoint essential).
• Strong knowledge of internal controls and risk management.
• Proven ability to implement new processes and standardize reporting with stakeholder alignment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust across teams.
• Base Salary Range: $118,900 - $149,100 base salary. Actual placement may vary.

Responsibilities

• Lead overhead (G&A) cost planning and forecasting cycles with full ownership.
• Serve as a strategic business partner to functional leaders through standardized monthly reviews.
• Analyze monthly overhead spending variances against budget and forecast.
• Prepare and post expense reclasses and journal entries to ensure accurate reporting.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance cost management, forecasting accuracy, and reporting efficiency.
• Manage cost center structures, reporting governance, and chart of accounts administration.
• Review cost allocations and expense drivers to ensure accurate departmental reporting.
• Lead accounting activities related to accruals, provisions, and other balance sheet accounts.
• Own planning, forecasting, and reporting for Other Income & Expense.
• Deliver insightful variance analysis and financial bridges versus forecast, budget, and prior year.
• Proactively identify risks and opportunities and partner with business leaders to achieve financial targets.
