Job summary

This entry-level role requires willingness to travel, lifting up to 50 pounds, extended hours, and participation in on-call rotations as part of a growing power grid contractor with a strong safety program.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license; able to obtain CDL within 60 days.
• Willing to travel long distances on short notice.
• Lift, carry, push, or pull materials and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Willing to work extended hours, weekends, holidays, and overtime.

Responsibilities

• Assist with building, repairing, and maintaining overhead distribution systems.
• Install and repair power lines, poles, insulators, conductors and related hardware.
• Maintain company vehicles, equipment and tools.
• Work outdoors in varying environmental conditions, including extreme heat, cold, rain, wind, and inclement weather.
• Available to work outages, storms, emergencies including on call rotation.
• Follow safety protocols including PPE use.
• Inspect PPE and understand when to wear protective gear.
• Perform rigorous physical labor.
