Job summary

River City Construction is seeking an Overhead Foreman with electrical overhead distribution experience for onsite work in Kettering, MD. The role requires leadership, safety focus, and the ability to travel as needed.

You will install and service components on high voltage systems, supervise crews, and ensure work is completed to code and schedule. A CDL or ability to obtain within 90 days is preferred.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of field experience in overhead electrical work.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs or more.
• Willing to glove/work live high voltage power lines.
• Willing to work overtime when requested.
• CDL license or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Lead crew members in the absence of the Foreman.
• Set poles and anchors.
• Install transformers, arrestors, crossarms, insulators, switches, and switchgear.
• Troubleshoot primary and secondary systems.
• Replace fuses and clear faulted circuits.
