Job summary

River City Construction is seeking an experienced Distribution Overhead Foreman to lead crews in the construction and maintenance of electrical overhead distribution systems. The role may involve travel to other states depending on customer demands.

This safety sensitive position requires a strong knowledge of line work, ability to lift 50 lbs, and willingness to work overtime in varied weather. You will mentor crew members, set poles, install equipment, and ensure safe operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of journey-level lineman experience in distribution systems.
• Strong knowledge of overhead line work and safety practices.
• Ability to travel and work at multiple locations.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a distribution overhead crew.
• Install transformers, crossarms, insulators, and switchgear.
• Conduct pre-job briefings and ensure safe work practices.
• Climb structures and operate high voltage equipment safely.
• Maintain vehicles, equipment, and tools; perform physical labor.
• Troubleshoot distribution circuits and identify faults.
