Job summary

5 Star Electric, LLC seeks an experienced Overhead Distribution Lineman – B Class in Pikeville, KY. The role entails working energized and de-energized lines, setting poles, stringing wires, and maintaining equipment.

You will lead a crew under safety-first practices, perform inspections, and respond to service orders in diverse outdoor environments. A valid CDL and OSHA training are required to start.

Qualifications

• Two to Three (2-3) years of experience or equivalent hours.
• Must have a valid State Driver License.
• Must have a Clean Valid Class A CDL and current medical examiner card.
• Completion of OSHA 10hr Safety Training within 60 days.

Responsibilities

• Know electrical line work methods and equipment.
• Climb poles and work outdoors in varied weather.
• Follow oral and written instructions and communicate clearly.
• Read and record data from meter dials.
• Respond to work orders including disconnections/reconnections.
• Maintain tools and equipment assigned.
