Job summary

5 Star Electric, LLC is seeking an Overhead Distribution Foreman in Chillicothe, OH to lead fiber and electrical line crews on-site. You will supervise daily operations, ensure safety, coordinate with field teams, and respond to work orders for distribution and service lines.

The role requires a High School Diploma, 3–4 years' experience, a valid State Driver License and a Class A CDL with Medical Card, plus willingness to travel and work overtime or storm events.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 3–4 years of experience or equivalent hours/education.
• Valid State Driver License or ability to obtain one.
• Must obtain a Clean Class A CDL with Medical Card.
• Willing to work overtime and storm work.
• Crews can work 40–60 hours per week.
• Must pass criminal and MVR background checks and pre-employment drug screen.
• Frequent travel for training and storm work possible.
• Complete OSHA 10hr Safety Training within 60 days.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily job briefings and ensure crew preparedness for hazards.
• Supervisor safety of crew during installation, maintenance and repair of lines.
• Maintain harmony with customers and public.
• Check material, equipment and manpower, and conduct pre-job safety meetings.
• Read and interpret meter data and operate distribution equipment.
• Stand on-call after hours as needed and direct safety procedures.
