Job summary

5 Star Electric, LLC is seeking an Overhead Distribution Foreman to supervise crews performing fiber and electrical line work, including installation, maintenance, and repair of overhead lines and related equipment. You will lead daily briefings, ensure safety, and coordinate with foremen and managers in a challenging outdoor environment.

The role requires climbing poles, working in various weather conditions, and reporting data from meters.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must obtain a Clean Class A CDL with Medical Examiner’s Card.
• Willing to work overtime and storm work.

Responsibilities

• Direct daily job briefings and ensure crew readiness for hazards.
• Ensure safety of crew and supervise installation, maintenance, and repair of lines and equipment.
• Maintain harmony among crew, customers, and the public.
• Perform pre-job meetings and safety analyses with crew.
• Demonstrate thorough knowledge of fiber/electrical line work and safety hazards.
• Read data from meter dials and assist in records.
