Job summary

5 Star Electric, LLC (5 Star) is seeking an Overhead Distribution Foreman to lead crews on fiber/electrical line work in Kentucky. You will supervise daily operations, enforce safety, and coordinate with management to deliver outages, reconductors, and related projects.

The role requires handling high voltage equipment, climbing poles, and performing physically demanding tasks in varied weather. CDL Class A and OSHA 10hr are required or pursued on assignment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 3–4 years experience in electrical distribution or similar field.
• Must obtain CDL Class A and OSHA 10hr within stated timelines.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily job briefings and supervise field crews on overhead/underground lines.
• Ensure safety standards and compliance for crew and equipment.
• Coordinate with foreman and division manager for daily plans.
• Read and record data from meters and related equipment.
• Perform pole work, wiring, and fiber-related tasks as required.
