Job summary

Qualifications

• Must have CDL Class A with endorsements.
• 1 year experience within the most recent 3 years.
• MVR must meet hiring standards.
• Must meet DOT regulatory requirements under 49 CFR 391.
• LCV knowledge for required states.
• Basic written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate tractor-trailer, including doubles (where applicable).
• Perform daily pre-trip and safety inspections on equipment.
• Hook/unhook trailers and converter dollies.
• Verify and complete required documentation and reports.
• Maintain accurate daily logs.
• Comply with hazardous material regulations and procedures.
• Follow dispatch instructions and communicate delays, arrivals, or problems.
• Load and unload freight as required.
• Drive long distances day and night on all roads and weather.
• Overnight stays may be required for some schedules.
• Comply with all applicable laws/regulations and company policies.
