Job summary

FedEx Freight is seeking a CDL-A driver to pick up and deliver trailers between Service Centers and turn-points. You will operate tractor-trailers, perform safety inspections, and ensure accurate documentation for each run.

The role requires adherence to DOT regulations, the ability to handle hazardous materials, and the capacity to work with dispatch as needed. Overnight stays and variable hours may occur depending on schedule.

Qualifications

• CDL Class A with double/triple and hazmat endorsements.
• Automatic transmission restriction allowed.
• Must meet DOT regulatory requirements and have a clean MVR.

Responsibilities

• Operate tractor-trailer, including doubles/triples where applicable.
• Perform daily pre-trip and safety inspections.
• Hook/unhook trailers and move converter dolies as needed.
• Complete required documentation and logs accurately.
• Follow dispatch instructions and communicate delays or issues.
• Load and unload freight as required.
• Adhere to hazardous materials procedures and company policies.
