Job summary

Papigen is seeking an experienced Technical Lead to spearhead the OutSystems AI Pod, driving design, development, and delivery of enterprise-grade low-code apps with AI capabilities. You will mentor developers, establish best practices, and collaborate with architects, product owners, and stakeholders to ensure scalable, secure, and high-performaing solutions.

The ideal candidate brings 8+ years of software development experience, 5+ years with OutSystems, and deep expertise in architecture,

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software development experience.
• 5+ years of hands-on OutSystems development.
• Strong knowledge of OutSystems architecture, Service Studio, Integration Studio, and Lifetime.
• Experience integrating REST/SOAP APIs and external systems.
• Experience with AI integrations (Azure OpenAI, OpenAI APIs, or similar).
• Strong knowledge of SQL, database design, and performance optimization.
• Experience with Azure or AWS cloud environments.
• Agile/Scrum experience.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of enterprise applications using OutSystems.
• Define technical architecture, coding standards, and development best practices.
• Integrate AI capabilities, REST APIs, and enterprise systems into OutSystems applications.
• Lead code reviews, technical design sessions, and solution architecture discussions.
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers, QA engineers, and business stakeholders.
• Drive Agile delivery, sprint planning, estimation, and technical mentoring.
• Ensure application performance, scalability, security, and maintainability.
• Support CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and production deployments.
• Troubleshoot production issues and provide technical guidance.
