Baker Tilly is seeking a Payroll Specialist to join our Client Service team in Philadelphia. You will ensure payroll data accuracy, process payrolls timely, and prepare payroll reports for clients, while maintaining confidentiality and compliance with federal/state laws.

Responsibilities include reviewing tax calculations, handling bonuses or severance where applicable, supporting implementation projects, and delivering excellent client service.

Qualifications

• 3 yrs payroll experience required.
• Bachelor’s degree or experience in lieu of degree.
• CPP preferred.
• Experience with ADP RUN software and implementation experience.
• Working knowledge of Outlook and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Highly detail oriented and focused on accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Ensure client payroll information is accurate within their payroll system and resolve discrepancies; prepare reports of employee earnings, taxes, deductions, and employer contributions.
• Establish strong client relationships by consulting on payroll matters and maintaining confidentiality; provide technical software support and identify opportunities to expand services.
• Be an additional resource to the implementation team; interview clients to understand payroll needs and manage new client implementations; train clients on payroll processes.
• Be a resource to new hires and staff; share insights and maintain product knowledge on ADP software platforms; stay current on payroll laws and practices.
