Job summary

Velocity Vehicle Group in the United States is seeking a Service Salesperson to drive service revenue for the Service Department and to build lasting relationships with large fleet customers.

In this role you will spend a majority of time outside the office, prospecting, presenting proposals, and closing deals on Freightliner products while delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining market knowledge.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in service department of trucking industry.
• Technician experience.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Strong communication skills.
• Must exhibit leadership qualities.
• Must exhibit teamwork qualities.
• Able to work with minimum supervision.
• Shows Initiative.

Responsibilities

• Prospect and generate service revenue for the Service Department.
• Develop and maintain excellent relationships with existing clients including large fleet customers.
• Manage repair expectations to ensure excellent customer service and quick service for trucks.
• Spend more than 50% of time outside the office engaging in selling Freightliner products.
• Prepare and deliver proposals/presentations to customers and key decision makers.
• Prepare and drafts sales agreements and other paperwork to complete the sale in a timely manner.
• Develop and maintain awareness of market behavior and competitive trends.
• Regularly meet with supervisor and service managers to review weekly sales activities and progress.
