Job summary

Velocity Vehicle Group is seeking an Outside Service Salesperson in Greensboro, NC to drive service revenue for the Service Department by developing and maintaining excellent relationships with existing clients, including large fleet customers. You will spend more than 50% of your time outside the office engaging in selling Freightliner products and ensuring exceptional service.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in service department of trucking industry.
• Must exhibit leadership qualities.
• Must exhibit teamwork qualities.
• Able to work with minimum supervision.
• Shows initiative.

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains thorough knowledge of Daimler products and pricing.
• Identifies leads, manages prospects, and acquires new business.
• Meets or exceeds business sales goals.
• Prepares and delivers proposals/presentations to customers and key decision makers.
• Prepares and drafts sales agreements and other paperwork needed to complete the sale in a timely manner.
• Develops and maintains awareness of market behavior and competitive trends and responds accordingly.
• Regularly meets with supervisor and service managers to review weekly sales activities, progress on goals and status of prospective customers.
