Job summary

Velocity Vehicle Group is seeking a Service Salesperson in Greensboro, NC to drive service revenue and manage key customer relationships, including large fleets. You will spend substantial time outside the office selling Freightliner products, while meeting sales goals and delivering exceptional service.

Responsibilities include prospecting, presenting proposals, and maintaining strong market awareness. Requires 10+ years in trucking service, leadership, and excellent communication skills.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in service department of trucking industry.
• Technician experience.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains a thorough knowledge of Daimler products and pricing.
• Identifies leads, manages prospects, and acquires new business.
• Meets or exceeds business sales goals.
• Completes prospecting activities to secure first and follow up appointment with decision makers.
• Schedules and documents activities.
• Prepares and delivers proposals/presentations to customers and key decision makers.
• Prepares and drafts sales agreements and other paperwork needed to complete the sale in a timely manner.
• Develops and maintains an awareness of the market behavior and competitive trends and responds accordingly.
• Regularly meets with supervisor and service managers to review weekly sales activities, progress on goals and status of prospective customers.
• Maintains excellent customer service standard.
• Resolves customer complaints and provides conflict resolution to customers.
• Visits customers to provide and maintain excellent customer relations.
