Job summary

Roof Talent America (RTA) in Omaha, NE, is seeking an Outside Sales Representative for commercial roofing. Base salary $65,000–$80,000 DOE plus commission, with 100% ESOP ownership and room to grow as the commercial sales organization expands.

You will own new commercial business in the Omaha market, develop accounts, and coordinate with operations to deliver on projects ranging from coatings restoration to single-ply solutions.

Opportunity Overview

An established Nebraska commercial roofing and property-solutions contractor, around 50 employees, 100% employee-owned through an ESOP, with permanent offices across the state.

Work spans commercial coatings restoration, single-ply re-roofing, metal systems, spray foam, storm damage, residential roofing, agricultural buildings, foundation repair and waterproofing. Roughly 97% is re-roofing rather than new construction, and this role is commercial-focused.

The platform has recently expanded beyond its traditional coatings base, widening the services available to take to market. Omaha is the newest office and the primary growth priority, with Lincoln also in territory. Sales sits alongside marketing, operations and multiple technical divisions.

Your Role

• Own new commercial business across the Omaha market, from first contact to closed deal
• Prospect proactively and develop accounts rather than working an inbound list
• Inspect and evaluate roofs well enough to sell coatings and single-ply solutions credibly
• Build partnerships and referral channels with building owners, facility managers and property groups
• Stay with your accounts through delivery, coordinating with operations

Key Requirements

• Proven commercial sales or business development, with pipeline you generated yourself
• Commercial roofing knowledge and industry contacts strongly preferred; commercial construction or building products consideredCredible on site. Be able to understand roof conditions, inspections and customer needs
• Based in or relocating to the Omaha metro, with a valid driver’s license
