Outside Sales Representative – Construction

Orlando, FL | Base Salary + Uncapped Commission | Company Vehicle Provided

Are you a relationship-driven salesperson who would rather be out in the market than sitting behind a desk?

We’re hiring an Outside Sales Representative to grow and manage a portfolio of customers within the construction industry, with a strong focus on framing, multifamily, and active construction projects throughout the Orlando market. You’ll spend your days visiting customers, walking job sites, spotting new construction opportunities, and building relationships with the people who keep projects moving.

What You’ll Do

• Manage and grow an assigned portfolio of existing customer accounts
• Prospect for new business throughout the Orlando construction market
• Visit job sites and customer locations regularly
• Identify new projects and opportunities through industry resources, referrals, market research, and good old-fashioned prospecting
• Build relationships that may follow customers across job sites and into surrounding markets
• Partner with branch and sales leadership to identify and pursue new opportunities
• Help customers with product needs and occasionally handle or transport construction supplies and inventory

What We’re Looking For

Sales experience is preferred, but industry experience is not required. We’re especially interested in candidates who are comfortable building relationships, prospecting in the field, and taking ownership of their territory.

Experience in construction supplies, industrial distribution, tools, equipment, building materials, or similar outside sales environments is a plus. You should also be comfortable with basic Microsoft Office tools, including Excel. Experience with Prophet 21/P21 is helpful but not required.

• Approximately $35,000 base salary + uncapped commission
