Job summary

SimpleBuild is hiring an Outside Sales Representative to own the LA / Orange County territory and grow the footprint with electrical contractors, distributors, and developers. You will run the full sales cycle, close deals, and exceed targets while coordinating with internal teams to deliver on time.

This role requires 3+ years in B2B outside sales, strong electrical product knowledge, and a willingness to travel the territory.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of B2B outside sales, ideally in electrical distribution, building products, switchgear, or construction.
• Track record of hitting quota and growing a territory.
• Technical aptitude to speak credibly about electrical products with contractors and engineers.
• Self-driven, relationship-first, and comfortable in the field daily.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel the territory.

Responsibilities

• Own and grow a territory book — prospect, build, and close relationships with electrical contractors, distributors, GCs, and developers.
• Run the full sales cycle: lead generation, discovery, product presentations, quoting (with our Quotation team), negotiation, and close.
• Hit and exceed revenue and margin targets; manage a healthy pipeline in CRM.
• Be the customer's advocate — coordinate with quoting, engineering, and production to deliver on time.
• Represent SimpleBuild at job walks, industry events, and trade associations.
• Provide market feedback on pricing, products, and competitors.
