Job summary

Nippon Sanso MATHESON, based in Long Beach, California, is seeking a Sales Representative to establish and grow customer accounts for cylinder gases and welding equipment. The ideal candidate has over 5 years of sales experience in related fields and a Bachelor's degree.

The position offers a competitive salary range of $75,000 to $85,000 per year, plus uncapped commission and full benefits, including health and dental insurance, paid holidays, and a 401(k) plan.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in sales, preferably in industrial gases, propane, welding supplies, or safety supplies.
• Proven track record in sales development and account management.
• Understanding of profit margins and effective quoting.

Responsibilities

• Establish new accounts and grow sales of cylinder gases and welding equipment.
• Maintain existing accounts in the assigned territory.
• Report to the Regional General Manager.

Position Summary:

Establish new accounts and maintain and grow existing sales of cylinder gases as well as welding equipment, safety and PPE products throughout the assigned protected territory. This role reports to the Regional General Manager.

Experience & Education:

• 5+ years of experience in sales. Preferably industrial gases/propane/welding supplies/safety supplies.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• A proven track record in sales development & account management.
• An understanding of profit margins and effective quoting.
• Professional presentation experience.
