Job Title: Remote Sales Representative – Custom Profile Extrusions (Polymer Industry)

Location: Remote (Region assigned based on candidate’s location)

Team Size: 5th member of the sales team

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Sales Representative with a proven track record in selling custom profile extrusions within the polymer industry. This remote role focuses on driving sales growth by building and maintaining strong client relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and delivering tailored solutions to meet customer needs. The region will be assigned based on the candidate’s location.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets for custom profile extrusions in the polymer industry.
  • Identify and prospect new clients while nurturing existing accounts to maximize sales opportunities.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their technical requirements and provide customized extrusion solutions.
  • Work closely with the engineering and production teams to ensure product specifications meet client expectations.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, forecasts, and pipeline using CRM software.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market demands to inform sales strategies.
  • Represent the company at virtual industry events, trade shows, and client meetings as needed.
  • Provide regular reports on sales performance and market feedback to the Sales Manager.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of sales experience in the polymer industry, specifically with custom profile extrusions.
  • Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets and build long-term client relationships.
  • Strong understanding of polymer materials, extrusion processes, and industry applications.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
  • Proficient in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally for client meetings or industry events (as needed).
  • Fully remote position with flexible hours, aligned with regional business needs.
  • Collaborative team environment with regular virtual check-ins and support from the 3-member sales team.
