The Outside Sales Representative will have a proven background in selling carbon flat rolled products. This role is ideal for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment and have an established book of business in hot rolled sheet and plate.

As an Outside Sales Representative, you will be responsible for growing your assigned territory. This position offers the opportunity to join a dynamic team and contribute meaningfully to our expansion goals.

Some of the Responsibilities of the Outside Sales Representative include:

• Drive sales of carbon flat rolled steel products, specifically truckload quantities of hot rolled sheet and plate.
• Manage and grow a defined sales territory with strategic planning and customer engagement.
• Leverage your existing book of business to generate immediate results.
• Build and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships.
• Stay informed on market trends, pricing, and competitor activity to provide insights and recommendations.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless order fulfillment and customer satisfaction.

Some of the Requirements/Qualifications of the Outside Sales Representative include:

• Existing book of business focused on hot rolled/hot rolled pickled and oiled (HR/HRPO) steel products.
• Minimum of 3 years of outside sales experience, preferably in the carbon flat rolled steel industry.
• Strong understanding of the hot rolled steel market, including pricing, distribution, and end-use applications.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Self-motivated with a proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets.
