Job summary

Service Corporation International in San Diego is seeking a Sales Professional - Outside Sales who will build relationships with families, present pre-need and at-need options, and drive referrals through community engagement and personal contact.

You will generate leads, manage a robust follow-up cycle, and coordinate with the funeral service network to achieve quota while working a flexible schedule that may include evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree not required; high school + relevant experience acceptable.
• Experience in sales or customer relations preferred.
• CRM experience is a plus; ability to manage contacts and follow-ups.

Responsibilities

• Lead generation and networking to obtain referrals for both at-need and pre-need arrangements.
• Prospect and visit families; dedicate time to reach quota.
• Explain and present planning guides to families; build trust and continuity of service.
• Maintain activity logs and reports; adapt schedule including nights/weekends.
• Develop community relationships and handle inquiries professionally.
