Job summary

PackSmart, Inc. in West Chicago, IL is seeking an Outside Sales Representative to generate new business and manage existing accounts across packaging machinery, void fill, foam, corrugated boxes, stretch wrap, and more.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 3 years of outside B2B sales experience; packaging industry knowledge a plus.
• At least 1 year of CRM experience (Salesforce preferred).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Driven hunter mindset with prospecting and follow-up abilities.

Responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities through prospecting, cold calling, and networking.
• Develop and maintain relationships with existing customers; ensure satisfaction and repeat business.
• Conduct customer site visits to assess packaging needs and tailor solutions.
• Present and demonstrate packaging machinery and supplies; articulate ROI to customers.
• Negotiate pricing, contracts, and terms of sale; ensure profitable outcomes.
• Collaborate with customer service, operations, and service techs to fulfill orders.
