Echo Electric is seeking an experienced Outside Sales Representative to focus on commercial sales with some involvement in industrial and residential electrical markets in Ohio. You will own end-to-end selling of electrical switch gear and lighting, build relationships with target accounts, and pursue new business opportunities.

The role includes a draw plus commission and a company car plan, with emphasis on growth and market penetration within the Ohio region.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience selling to residential contractors
• High school diploma required; technical degree preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Negotiation skills and ability to close deals
• Product knowledge in electrical supplies is a plus
• Ability to adapt to customer needs and market dynamics

Responsibilities

• Identify and establish contact with potential customers; schedule appointments and demonstrate products
• Develop and maintain relationships with existing customers; follow up with leads
• Attend industry trade shows to identify leads and engage customers
• Stay informed about industry trends to spot opportunities
• Recommend targeted marketing strategies for specific regions or demographics
• Generate and submit sales reports to management
