Job summary

Forge & Build is hiring an Outside Sales Representative at our Imlay City, MI facility. You will identify and foster relationships with contractors, builders, developers, and homeowners, selling building materials for residential and commercial projects.

The role emphasizes delivering excellent customer experience and growth in a defined territory. Pay features a base salary of $50,000 with uncapped commissions and no market restrictions, and a Monday–Friday schedule from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Strong effective communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to analyze and develop strategy based on blueprints.
• Maintains monthly sales quotas and customer experience ratings.
• Consistently provides excellent experience to current and potential customers.
• Strong ability to present product lines to all sizes of groups and with effectively closing sales.
• Ability to create and present sales quotes.
• Self-driven with cold calling new prospects consistently.

Responsibilities

• Present and sell Forge + Build products and services.
• Understands and maintains knowledge of all product services.
• Build and maintain collaborative relationships with contractors, builders, developers, homeowners, etc.
• Responsible for all segments of the POS systems related to selling materials.
• Foster store partnership and collaboration within internal clients.
• Communicate information to store/internal clients in a timely manner.
• Develop action items to improve issues with urgency.
• Produce accurate and timely quotes through all product lines and follow up with customers.
• Grow customer clients through excellent customer experience.
• Collect payment for invoices after sale from customers within terms.
• Stay updated on product lines to ensure accuracy.
• Review and analyze data metrics to help grow the business.
• Generate growth and profitability while maintaining margins.
