Job summary

Forge & Build, part of EquipmentShare, is seeking an Outside Sales Representative for our Remus, MI facility. You will identify, generate, and foster relationships within the outside/inside community, selling building materials for residential and commercial projects in an assigned area.

We offer a base salary plus uncapped commission, with a schedule Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–5:00 PM. If you’re driven to grow sales, engage customers, and help shape the future of construction, this role is for you.

Qualifications

• Possess a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Strong effective communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to analyze and develop strategy based on blueprints.
• Maintains monthly sales quotas and customer experience ratings.
• Strong ability to present product lines and close sales.
• Ability to create and present sales quotes.
• Self-driven with cold calling new prospects.
• Collaborates with Store Manager on sales initiatives.
• Leads by example and drives sales growth.
• Monitors KPIs and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Single point contact to Present and sell Forge + Build products and services.
• Understand and maintain knowledge of all product services.
• Build and maintain relationships with contractors, builders, developers, homeowners.
• Handle POS systems related to selling materials.
• Foster store partnership and collaboration within internal clients.
• Communicate information to store/internal clients promptly.
• Provide actionable items to resolve issues with urgency.
• Produce accurate quotes and follow up with customers.
• Grow customer base through excellent customer experience.
• Collect payments for invoices within terms.
• Stay updated on product line changes for accuracy.
• Review data metrics to grow the business.
• Drive growth and profitability with competitive pricing and margins.
