Job summary

Builders FirstSource, America's largest supplier of building materials, seeks a sales professional to represent complex customer needs and drive business with large accounts. The role involves coordinating with inside staff, developing proposals, and training junior reps.

You may also serve as Sales Manager in the absence of the current manager. Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree in Sales/Marketing or related field and 2+ years of sales experience, plus a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing or related field plus two (2) years prior sales experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to achieve aggressive sales goals and objectives.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Represents the company during the sales process by collecting data on customer needs and design specifications, and acting as a liaison between inside technical/design staff and customer in developing sales proposals.
• Develops sales contracts for a wide range of projects by collecting specification information from the client’s engineer or architect of record.
• Troubleshoots field issues which may be difficult to resolve or are complex in nature.
• Plans and conducts sales presentations and demonstrates products and services to meet client needs.
• Researches, identifies and solicits new customers to generate sales opportunities.
