Carter Lumber Company in Sanford, North Carolina seeks an Outside Sales Representative (Commercial/Multi-Family) to build and maintain strong relationships with local contractors, builders, and remodelers. You will sell our full line of building materials and installed services, manage projects after sale, read blueprints, and prepare estimates while coordinating with yard and dispatch teams.

Qualifications

• Commercial/Multi-Family sales experience required.
• Knowledge of home building basics.
• Create material estimates/quotes and special orders.
• Read blueprints and provide material take-offs.
• Ability to work independently and manage accounts.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with local contractors, builders and remodelers.
• Sell full line of building materials and installed services.
• Manage projects after sale and monitor customer product usage.
• Visit job sites as needed and coordinate with yard/office teams.
