Job summary

JASPER Engines & Transmissions in Raleigh, NC is seeking an Outside Sales Representative to grow the business in an assigned territory, calling on independent repair facilities, local fleets, city and government entities, marinas and national accounts. The territory includes Raleigh‑Durham and Roanoke Rapids, with overnights once per month.

The role requires a degree or 2+ years of sales experience, a hunter mentality, self-motivation, automotive knowledge, and integrity.

Responsibilities

• Utilize proven selling system with marketing support.
• Develop plans to maximize sales opportunities in territory.
• Contact independent repair facilities, local fleets, gov't entities.
• Prepare needs assessments, sales proposals and presentations.
• Collaborate with inside sales, customer service, production and distribution.
• Plan and manage accounts, introduce new products, build relationships.
