Service Experts in Richmond, VA is seeking a Residential Sales Consultant to diagnose home comfort needs and present high-efficiency HVAC and water heater options. This outside sales role blends consultative selling with education, relationship management, and pipeline-building.

You will leverage internal warm leads and your own prospecting to close opportunities, collaborate with the technical team onsite, and stay informed about energy-efficient technologies while delivering exceptional

Qualifications

• High school degree or GED required; Bachelor’s degree or related professional sales certifications preferred.
• 0-2+ years of proven sales experience, with a preference for direct-to-consumer (B2C) selling.
• Strong business development abilities, excellent negotiation skills, and a talent for closing sales.
• Demonstrated ability to educate customers and present technical concepts clearly; excellent interpersonal skills.
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Consultative Selling: Present tailored comfort options for high-efficiency HVAC and water heater systems to new and established customers.
• Customer Experience Champion: Build lasting relationships through a customer-focused approach, ensuring satisfaction, trust, and retention.
• Sales Generation: Drive growth by working both incoming internal leads and your own prospect pipeline to close sales.
• Onsite Collaboration: Partner with our technical team members during site visits to ensure solutions are perfectly tailored to the home’s requirements, fostering a 100% satisfaction experience.
