Job summary

XTRA Lease in Des Plaines, IL is seeking an Assistant Branch Manager – B2B Sales. This role trains you for an Outside Sales Branch Manager position at our other facilities, with opportunities to expand territory, manage P&L, and earn uncapped commissions.

You will serve major clients, employ a consultative sales approach, and drive rental, lease, and trailer sales transactions, while maintaining accounts, and credit processes. Strong growth within a Berkshire Hathaway-backed company awaits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• At least 1-3 years of B2B sales experience.
• Territory management or territory supervision (preferred).
• Able to relocate out-of-state upon promotion; relocation assistance provided.

Responsibilities

• Serving B2B customers like PepsiCo and FedEx to determine equipment needs and explain rental options.
• Use a consultative sales approach to prospect, build relationships, and close rental, lease, and trailer sales transactions.
• Manage customer accounts including credit and collections.
• Track leads and data using a sales system and use technology to perform inventories and manage branch metrics.
• Training for the future Outside Sales Branch Manager role with P&L responsibility.
