Consolidated Electrical Distributors in Asheville is seeking an Outside Sales professional to develop relationships with new and existing customers and to drive sales growth.

You will identify target accounts, learn customer needs, and make product recommendations based on electrical applications. Travel to customer sites is required, and a valid driver’s license is necessary.

Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge of electrical products and their functions.
• Minimum 3 years sales experience.
• Ability to travel and make sales calls at customer locations.
• Ability to comprehend, read, and communicate in English both orally and in writing.
• Valid driver’s license and driving record meeting standards.
• Math skills including calculating percentages, decimals, and discount multipliers.

Description

The Outside Salesperson represents CED to potential new and existing customers. The focus for this position is to develop relationships with those customers in order to maintain and increase sales.

Minimum Qualifications

• Extensive, demonstrable knowledge of electrical products and their functions
• Minimum 3 years sales experience
• Ability to travel and make sales calls at customer locations
• Ability to comprehend, read, and communicate in English both orally and in writing
• Valid driver’s license and a driving record that meets CED required standards

Conditions vary based on the customer location and may include construction, warehouse, manufacturing, office, or external environments. The compensation range for this position is $55000 to $75000 annually.
