Job summary

West Michigan International (WMI) and K&R Truck Sales in Michigan are seeking an Outside Parts Sales Representative to grow our truck and trailer parts business. You will build lasting customer relationships, explain features and warranties, and deliver outstanding service to customers in a defined territory or account list.

The role involves quoting, CRM data management, meeting sales targets, and continuous product training.

Qualifications

• Experience in the medium and heavy-duty truck industry preferred.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Professional attitude and appearance.
• Confident, positive attitude with a customer-focused approach.
• Proficiency with computer software including Microsoft Office and web-based applications.
• Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license.
• Ability to lift, carry and move up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Selling medium and heavy-duty truck and trailer parts
• Explaining features, benefits, and warranty of parts to customers
• Prospecting for customers in a designated territory or assigned account list daily
• Responding promptly to customer inquiries with clear and concise written and verbal communication
• Building strong customer relationships and providing unmatched customer service
• Preparing quotes and proposals for customers
• Maintaining a complete customer and prospect database in the dealership's CRM system
• Achieving or exceeding sales goals
• Attending training and continuously increasing knowledge of full product lines
