Job summary

West Michigan International (WMI) and K&R Truck Sales, locally owned truck dealership groups, are seeking an Outside Parts Sales Representative to drive business growth by promoting parts and delivering outstanding service.

You will prospect for customers in a designated territory, explain features and warranties, and prepare quotes while maintaining CRM records to achieve sales goals.

Qualifications

• Experience in the medium and heavy-duty truck industry preferred.
• Excellent oral and written communication.
• Professional attitude and appearance.
• Customer-focused approach.
• Proficiency with computer software including Microsoft Office and web-based applications.
• Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license.
• Ability to lift, carry and move up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Selling medium and heavy-duty truck and trailer parts.
• Explaining features, benefits, and warranty of parts to customers.
• Prospecting for customers in a designated territory or assigned account list daily.
• Responding promptly to customer inquiries with clear and concise written and verbal communication.
• Building strong customer relationships and providing unmatched customer service.
• Preparing quotes and proposals for customers.
• Maintaining a complete customer and prospect database in the dealership's CRM system.
• Achieving or exceeding sales goals.
• Attending training and continuously increasing knowledge of full product lines.
