CrossCountry Mortgage is seeking an Outside Loan Originator to source mortgage leads, build relationships with real estate agents, and process loans in compliance with SAFE Act requirements.

This role emphasizes market analysis, client consultation, and collaboration with processing and underwriting to ensure smooth closings; candidates should be proactive, technically proficient, and capable of representing CCM across branches.

Qualifikationen

• NMLS license required under the SAFE Act 2008.
• Experience with retail product philosophy, underwriting, procedures, documentation, and systems.
• Experience proactively soliciting new business.
• Knowledge of mortgage products and programs.
• Excellent analytical skills to evaluate credit requests.
• Advanced communication and collaboration skills.
• Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.

Aufgaben

• Source mortgage leads.
• Build business relationships with real estate agents and other lead sources.
• Analyze potential loan markets and develop referral networks to locate prospects.
• Market CCM products to individuals and firms, promoting CCM services.
• Meet with applicants to obtain information for loan applications.
• Analyze applicants' financial status, credit, and property evaluations.
• Explain loan types and terms to customers.
• Generate complete loan applications with documentation.
• Improve loan applications by informing applicants of additional requirements.
• Handle customer questions and resolve complaints.
• Own communication with real estate agents or referral sources.
• Confer with processing and underwriting to aid in resolving issues.
• Maintain job knowledge through education and professional activities.
• Participate in mortgage sales activities, closings, open houses, and trainings.
