Job summary

Franklin Energy is seeking a results-driven Outreach Specialist to develop, coordinate, support, implement, and manage outreach functions for both new and legacy programs. The role collaborates with internal and external program stakeholders to optimize processes and drive results in energy efficiency initiatives.

Responsibilities include applying sales processes, making outbound calls to meet energy-saving targets, recruiting and training contractors, presenting program offerings, and tracking

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required.
• 1–2 years of experience in electric or natural gas utility industry, sales, commercial and industrial lighting, or conservation.
• Previous customer service experience required.

Responsibilities

• Apply fundamental sales processes, procedures, methods and techniques.
• Understand and implement Sales Process, including outbound calls to new and existing customers to meet energy saving targets.
• Recruit, train, educate and cultivate relationships with contractors and customers to encourage effective marketing of programs.
• Prepare weekly and monthly project based activity reports and track progress towards program goals.
• Assist in the implementation of specific energy efficiency programs in a “flex” capacity, according to defined budgets and energy savings targets.
