Job summary

Franklin Energy in Detroit seeks an Outreach Manager II to lead a team of Energy Advisors, Outreach Specialists, and Energy Engineers across energy efficiency programs. You will provide energy advice and coordinate services for customers while driving outreach processes and cross-department collaboration.

The role requires strategic leadership, budget management, and coordination with the Technology group to optimize data and communications. Up to 40% travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field, with energy program exposure preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in customer outreach/sales and energy efficiency programs.
• Experience managing staff performing proactive customer outreach activities.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervise and mentor the Outreach team (Energy Advisors, Outreach Specialists, Energy Engineers).
• Plan, coach, assign and direct work; conduct performance reviews.
• Achieve program objectives with productivity standards and customer service metrics.
• Coordinate with Technology department on software issues and enhancements.
• Develop budgets and monitor expenditures for Outreach programs.
