Qualifications

• No experience required.
• Current driver’s license with a driving record that meets fleet safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Verifies positive patient identification to ensure patient safety.
• Independently performs venipuncture and collects specimens from newborn, pediatric, and adult patients.
• Enters, releases, and verifies test requests into the computer system as needed.
• Processes specimens for testing, including aliquoting, while maintaining proper specimen identification.
• Documents appropriate information for quality assurance/improvement.
