Responsibilities

• Outreach programming: plan and deliver library events; partner with community agencies; use planning and evaluation tools.
• Community networking: engage with local organizations to raise awareness and demand for library services.
• Drives large vehicles: operate bookmobiles and vans to service locations in varying weather conditions.
• Patron assistance: help patrons locate information and provide technology instruction; offer reference and readers advisory services.
• Collection maintenance: contribute to web content updates and recommend acquisitions to keep the collection current.
• Staff resource: mentor staff and provide in-depth reference assistance and training.
• Other duties: assist with grants, displays, budgets, and reporting to support smooth operations.
