Job summary

SimonMed Imaging in Orlando, FL is seeking an MRI Technologist to produce high-resolution diagnostic images with emphasis on safety and patient comfort. You will evaluate your work before radiologist review and apply MRI physics, anatomy knowledge, and contrast administration protocols to ensure diagnostic quality.

The role requires ARRT-MR or ARMRIT certification, state licensure, CPR/BLS, and 1+ year of MRI experience.

Qualifications

• ARRT-MR or ARMRIT certification required
• Valid state licensure current where required
• Hands-on CPR/BLS certified and current
• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic or MRI Technology program
• 1+ year of experience in a high-volume MRI environment preferred
• MRI safety zones and screening protocols second nature
• Proficiency in PACS and imaging software systems
• Confident in contrast administration and contraindication assessment
• Strong communication skills with patients, physicians, and teammates
• Calm under pressure and sharp under a deadline
• Willingness to mentor staff and students and contribute to a positive clinical culture

Responsibilities

• Operate MRI scanners to produce high-resolution diagnostic images.
• Ensure MRI safety and enforce zones I–IV.
• Screen patients, monitor during procedures, and manage contrast protocols.
• Maintain clean, complete patient documentation and PACS usage.
• Manage workflow, perform routine quality checks, and adapt to protocol changes.
