Job summary

SimonMed Imaging is seeking a dedicated X-ray Technologist to deliver high-quality diagnostic imaging with precision and empathy. You will position patients correctly, ensure image quality, and collaborate with radiologists to meet clinical standards in a fast-paced outpatient setting.

The role emphasizes autonomy, efficient workflow, and adherence to ALARA principles. Proficiency in PACS, RIS, and EMR is expected, along with a willingness to mentor students and uphold a high standard of patient

Qualifications

• ARRT certification in Radiography (R) required.
• Valid state licensure where required.
• BLS certification current or in progress.
• 1–2 years of X-ray experience preferred; outpatient or ambulatory care experience a plus.
• Associate's degree or certificate in Radiologic Technology from an accredited program.
• Proficiency in PACS, RIS, and EMR systems.
• Working knowledge of ALARA and radiation safety principles.
• Strong communication skills with patients, physicians, and teammates.
• Ability to manage workflow with minimal supervision.
• Willingness to mentor students and contribute to a positive clinical culture.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality diagnostic X-ray exams with correct technique and positioning.
• Evaluate images for technical quality and produce diagnostic-grade results.
• Manage own workflow and adapt to a high-volume schedule.
• Maintain clean, real-time documentation.
• Ensure infection control standards are maintained.
• Mentor students during rotations and contribute to clinical culture.
