SimonMed Imaging in Santa Clara, CA seeks a detail‑oriented X‑Ray Technologist to deliver high‑quality diagnostic X‑ray exams with precision and compassion. From precise positioning to real‑time image evaluation, you will ensure every exam meets the highest clinical standards and patient safety guidelines.

You will work with modern radiographic equipment, maintain efficient workflows, and mentor students while upholding ALARA principles and rigorous clinical standards.

Qualifications

• ARRT certification in Radiography (R) required.
• Valid state licensure current (where required).
• BLS certification current or in progress.
• 1–2 years of X-ray experience preferred; outpatient or ambulatory care experience a plus.
• Associate’s degree or certificate in Radiologic Technology from an accredited program.
• Proficiency in PACS, RIS, and EMR systems.
• Working knowledge of ALARA and radiation safety principles.
• Strong communication skills with patients, physicians, and teammates.
• Ability to manage workflow with minimal supervision.
• Willingness to mentor students and contribute to a positive clinical culture.

Responsibilities

• You perform high-quality diagnostic X-ray exams with correct technique and positioning, evaluate your own images for technical quality, and produce diagnostic-grade results that physicians count on—right the first time.
• Maintain proficiency with PACS, RIS, and EMR systems, while applying ALARA radiation safety principles and ensuring complete, real-time documentation.
• Manage your own workflow in a high-volume outpatient setting, prepare rooms, and troubleshoot equipment issues without slowing the team.
• Provide compassionate patient interactions with clear explanations, proper positioning, and attention to safety and comfort.
