Job summary

Mercy Health is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Outpatient Wound Care Clinic at St. Anne Hospital. The role involves delivering high-quality nursing care, developing patient care plans, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to improve outcomes in a wound care setting.

Requirements include RN licensure, BLS, and a wound care certification path. Preference for BSN/MSN and UHMS HBOT exposure with EPIC EHR experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (required).
• Bachelor of Science Nursing (preferred).
• Master of Science Nursing (preferred).
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) (required).
• Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN licensure acceptable.
• BLS Basic Life Support– American Heart Association (preferred upon hire, required prior to direct patient care).
• UHMS-approved wound care course within 6 months of hire (required).
• EPIC EHR training (preferred).
• Recent nursing experience in acute care and/or home health care (required).
• Experience in Wound Care and Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Deliver exemplary nursing care to outpatients in the wound care clinic.
• Assess patient status using organizational and leadership skills.
• Develop and implement patient care plans to improve outcomes.
• Provide wound care and administer medications safely.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care team to standardize best practices.
